Our Mission
The purpose of the Goshen Stars Soccer Club is to promote the development of select/travel teams for highly skilled youth players to compete in area leagues and tournaments. We provide quality soccer playing opportunities for youth with the desire to maximize their soccer potential. Players commit to one year of participation — consisting of both a Fall and Spring season.
Season Schedule

- Practices: Two times per week — Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Games: Mostly on weekends. Saturday games run 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday games 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Some local Elkhart County games may be played on weekdays starting at 6:00 PM.
- Home vs. Away: Approximately half of games are played at home, half away.

Uniforms: $65 (youth or adult sizes) — includes one red shirt, one white shirt, red shorts, and two pairs of red socks. We use the new Adidas uniform this year; High Five uniforms have been retired. We do not make a profit on uniforms — it is our cost.
Registration Deposit: A $40 deposit is required at tryouts to hold your player’s spot. This amount goes toward the total registration fee. Full payment is preferred when practices begin, but payment arrangements are available — just speak with your coach or a board member.
Multi-Player Family Discount
We want to make travel soccer affordable for every family. If you have more than one player participating, you receive a discount on each additional registration:

Each additional player receives an additional 10% discount. Discounts apply to the registration fee only.
About Our Costs
Goshen Stars is a 100% volunteer organization. No money paid goes toward any coach, manager, or board member. Our costs go directly toward:
- Team and player registration with Indiana Soccer League (ISL)
- Player insurance through ISL
- Referee charges per game
- Field maintenance, development, and equipment
- Field mortgage repayment
Volunteer With Us
We try to find a place for every player who comes to Goshen Stars. The main reason we are occasionally unable to place a player is due to the availability of volunteer coaches and managers, or insufficient numbers to support a team in a specific age group.
